I love the combination of the yellow Brugmansia and the purple Tibouchina. The Brugmansia was given to me at the beginning of the summer as a 45cm cutting. They obviously love this sheltered corner.
The collection of pots outside the greenouse has for the last few years been planted with scarlet flowering plants. The dark Aeonium is a good contrast to the reds. The group continues way into the autumn with a final burst from the pineapple sage.
Silver corner
This combination of silver plants always seems to work and continue through the season without ever flagging, though the Plectranthus argentum (large leaved plant back left) needs keeping in order with a bit of trimming now and then.
This bath was originally in the house! In the winter it is filled with wallflowers and pansies. In the summer it has geraniums and whatever else takes my fancy.
